Yes. The weather in Chicago changes quickly, and the rain in summer may stop in 20 minutes, leaving the rest of the time to breath fresh air and enjoy your trip. Guests can reschedule at that time.

WEATHER POLICY

Chicago’s weather at times can be varied with the potential to change quickly. In order to sustain the safest conditions for you and your party, only the captain will decide if conditions are appropriate for a safe sail. Harmony will not depart from the harbor if there is thunder or lightning, constant rain, or if it is determined that approaching weather is unavoidable. If such conditions occur while Harmony is outside of the harbor with guests, course will immediately be redirected back to the harbor. Scattered showers that are inconsistent and spotty are generally considered safe sailing conditions and will not be an automatic cancellation of your appointment. Under these circumstances, if you do not arrive to your scheduled appointment you will forfeit the total cost of the charter.

What if it is raining on our way to the harbor?
